many charitable organsations can be fake, especially the overseas one ... there is nothing to stop anyone from starting a new "charity" to solicit for donation ... u can use all sorts of great campaign names ... for the aids patients, for the tsumani victims, for the poor hungry kids, whatever ... then after tears & cries & collected lots of $$$, u can charge all sorts of expenses to yourself ... publicity & promotion, transport & travelling, utility & maintenance, telecommunication, entertainment, staff welfare, and most importantly, astronomical salaries + big fat bonus! ... ok, left with 0.00000001% for the charity, if any.
