ok i read up...is there really gonna be a launch party?
how to get tickets? I would love to be involved or party.

I read at the site under EVENTS...theres this "Star Wars Fan Collectibles Xchange Weekends (December 2005, January 2006)"

Any info whats that about & is it open for anybody whose interested?

Thanks for asking, vector_prime ..... no concrete plans have been made as yet, but this would be a day , probably a Saturday, in December 2005 and one in January 2006 , where we will hold a gathering at the Singapore Science Centre next to the exhibition, and fans can register for a table to either display their collections, do trading , or even sales . An event like this will draw both Star Wars fans and collectors, as well as the public, so it would be a good time to either show off your collectibles , or to trade and sell. It will be like the Mos Eisley market . Time will probably be from 12 noon to 6 pm, and there will be a nominal registration fee of probably around $10 per table , and you can share with another fan to rent a table , which will only make it $5 per person . We're not sure yet, but Singapore Science Centre may even donate the $10 registration fee per table to Charity !

Any feedback on this would be appreciated. Anybody interested ?

I can just sense the vibe now....would be real interested in participating...maybe I can get some of my collector friends to join me too

Hi everyone,

It looks like the Star Wars Fan Collectibles Xchange Weekends will now be held in January and February 2006 , one weekend in each month , because we've literally run out of weekends in December 2005 to slot in this program !

Once I confirm the dates and details, I will let you know :)

Great ! There will not be very many tables available.... only maybe 10 - 12 tables , to be confirmed, so maybe I should start early registration for the event ......
