There is no Death.... There is The Force
well, mine is the Darth Maul FX lightsaber... there are 2 problems exactly... one is that once i put the battery compartment inside the saber, it goes on automatically althought it was switched off. the other problem is that the connector to merge the 2 sabers together is broken and can't fit in.. do u know how do i solve this problems?

for the connector part, it is either the connector or the hilt part spoilt. change a connector is it is the former. buy new hilt if tats d prob.
for the battery part, sounds like a wire connection prob. you need someone with electrical knowledge to tear it apart then prob need to reconnect the wires.
but hey, u should be able to get it fixed yourself. even a padawan knows how to build his own lightsaber.

i'm not to sure if this topic is still being looked at but this might solve your problems.
if it's the connector that's the problem:http://www.ultrasabers.com/Maul_Coupler_p/parts-dmc.htm
If it's the structure of the lightsaber that is broken and is preventing you to connect the 2 than i'm afraid i can't help you there. You might have to get a new one. With the issue of the saber turning on when you put the bat pack in:http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com/sh ... php?t=1024
this link will help you take apart your saber, it is a tutorial of a lux conversion but it should prove handy, when putting ur saber back together once you have found out what the problem is. If you find that the problem has got to do with the sound bord and the electronics. Use this link as a guide. you may like to re-solder the joints of the sound bord this may solve the problem.
Don't send it to MR, they have lost there licence with star wars and they have never done any repair jobs on fx sabers. Previously, if your saber was faulty due to a manufacturing screw up, you could send it back to get a refund but they would never 'repair' any sabers.
If all fails, or you don't wan't to tear apart your saber you could send it to one of the saber smiths at - http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/ or www.fx-sabers.com, to get them to fix the problem or just upgrade your saber. If you have to upgrade the soundboard, this could just prove more expensive than just getting a new saber. Good Luck!

i'm sorry man, i'm not really 'local'. I don't live in sg, not yet any way.
You could snoop around your local hobby shops but, that's about it if you don't wan't to shop online. You would have to be very, very lucky to find a store that sells the stock fx maul coupler.
You could contact singapore hasbro public relations and ask if they can send you a Fx darth maul coupler.
Good Luck!
