We'll wait patiently. :)

Our weather just isn't conducive for such events.... imagine what the poor costumers must feel !

I agree. Singapore's humid weather is not conducive for putting on costumes. the only solution is to have it in an air-conditioned place. reminds me of this year's DotCon when Vader and Boba Fett made an appearance. :)

Hello everyone!! JAcen (fett) here! HEres my first post so I tot i had to include an intro...

Well, Tim has a fantastic track record for his costumes and I must say he was the one who 'converted' my interest in storm troopers during the recent takashimaya, be a toy contest!

Of course there are other really good artisens and constructors. I have to say compared to them. I mess up and destroy more then I can join and assemble....

Wonder if it's possible to commission a suit of stormie armour? I suck at art too, and I'm not exactly ang-moh sized (1.7m) so buying one off eBay would probably be a terrible idea.

How tall do you think we are?

1.7 m is a good height for a trooper...

Buying off E-bay is fine but expensive... You just need to trim the suit to your size...

The hard parts were ordered in.... mostly from the States... For fabrics, some locally-sourced and some from overseas...

For majority of the Armors, nope, we bought a kit from a reliable seller and then work on it to fit ourselves better or make it more accurate. Kit will mean the basic parts like all Armor parts and maybe Helmet, Gun. Then we have to buy from other sources our Bodysuit/Jumpsuit, Gloves, Gun, Boots, Neck Sealer etc etc. The end result could ended up to SGD500 to SGD5,000+++ (Vader).

One of the few armors that can be made almost totally from scratch is Boba Fett & Jango Fett. Helmet will be bought and then the person will have to use whatever materials available to him/her in Singapore to make the other parts. From Aluminium Sheet to PVC Pipe to whatever found in the house. End result ranges from person to person depending on how much was made and how much was bought and worked on, plus yet to see all 4 Boba Fett and 2 Jango line-up together to compare.. ;)

Heeheee.....now I look back, majority of our Imperials Troopers ARE Short.

I need to comment on this... Aluminium sheets and PVC pipes can't get you into the 501st Legion unless you are really good at transforming them into how they are supposed to look like... But if you aren't that concerned, go ahead and have fun! :)

Hi King,

You may wish to seek assistance from the leader and members of the 501st Legion based in Malaysia... They'll be in a better position to advise you on shipping...
