They have special "2007 Rose Parade" badges for the marchers. These patches are attached to their Right Shoulders - shoulder armor of their Stormtrooper costumes.assjedi wrote:looks like the stickers are for the 501st who participated in the rose parafe

Arek is the member from Malaysia-Brunei Outpost of 501st. More known as Russell!!
Guys, you really rock! I had good lucky to be placed into same room with these two Singapore Outpost guys Aw and Shawn. Also French Garrison Stephane Heinz was there and that guy was unlucky as his TK-armor took couple of extradays to arrive. British Airways gave some USD 16.00 him for such a logistic error.
The Parade was really rough for troopers. I lost some skin from legs and still recovering from those injuries. Marching did go well, only the visiblity thru my TK-helmet was totally fogged. Didn't see any crowds, tv-cameras, anything. Just trooper front of me. I was the Color Guard who carried flag of Idaho. On our rehersals I did have my own country, Finland's flag, but the order of flags was changed by LFL and I lost it!
Rose Parade was a kind of once in lifetime opportunity to see troopers from so many locations around the world. I bet even on Celebration won't be people from this many Outposts and Garrisons. We also had change to meet uncle George, -twice!!
Sparetime was limited, but the Singapore guys managed to rush into every toyretailshop on greater LA area. It was an miracle how they were able to return with such a toytreasure.
Here they guys are packing their stuff on last day:
Aw had some minor difficulties to sleep on hotel. He found shower as good place to sleep. This is rare picture where Aw is sleeping on bed:
