Welcome back rose parade troopers TB7576 & TK9809

Finally both Singapore trooper TB7576 and TK8909 have safely touch down in singapore airport hanger completing a major milestone in Singapore 501st outpost history for being the first troopers ever to participate in the official GL event.

Here are some of the images taken shortly 2 hrs ago before midnite 03 Jan 2007 of their arrival....pls join us to give them a heroic welcome...

The 501st singapore outpost troopers waited anxiously for their comrades safe return

They wait and they wait and they wait ...

As the air in the hanger is getting toxic..troopers have to dorn their lifesaving helmet to de-toxified themselves

then out of the blue, 2 familiar figures were spotted - is a bird, a plane no is our singapore troopers checking out and the troopers actually got excited and adrenaline got pump up to max

They have been mistaken as some superstar initally

The supply droids were sent in to assist the troopers

A major milestone to remember for years to come for the 2 troopers for sure

Hip Hip Huray...Hip Hip Huray...well done troopers u do singapore proud

we too have a special guest - could be the next mara Jade...look around the pictures and give a guess....

O not forgetting to thank the hardcore 501st singapore troopers and their spouses who took off their personal time to welcome our heros back...u folks are just great...worthy as friends.

nevertheless despite the rose parade has ended successfully, the heat is still on and i managed to recover the video in youtube that all of u can click onto see , sory i cannot embed it since HTML code is off ....

Again the credit goes not only to the 2 successful troopers making into rose bowl but also the the next of kin, spouses and children of the troopers who have assist in the making this wonderful marching video and also all the photographing sessions and u all are the best logistics support team we ever work with and u are professional ...i salute to u all on behalf of the troopers..

Thanks guys for everything... it was really fun to be there... we got stories and pictures to show!!! we try to get a gathering soon to have a show and tell from my camera... hundreds of pictures!!!!

good idea Awee maybe we should have a presentation and a small party and u and shaun can explain and tell us stories and we can film it down as videos as well...
