Latest news from Dranoel, about 40 pcs of 501st Comic Con exclusive is available, and I'm sure it will not remain for long. So those who are looking for this piece, do pop by. TRU's selling it at S$24.90

Heard the news for the past week. Did not went to hunt, not really very interested and spending too much for the time being.


Btw for those who rip out the 501stormie, and do not want the starcase, you know who do look for! Me interested in starcases.

Negative.
Not all are scalped locally. Some bought it via ebay from US and such, such as my pal yttsc. The rest, I no idea, some indeed scalped from retailers, some just put it there with high end price, has no intention to sell but to make you drool. (more like see no touch, once touch, consider sold very ex)

Dranoel, I noticed that there is a Variation in the label of the "501st Comic Con Exclusive stormie in the pic that you have taken above, compared to this one below :

the latter is a pic taken by a fellow 501st Hong Kong Outpost member. So I guess the ones that were SOLD OUT(?) at TRU for S$24.90 were the normal retail ones...

The difference is that SDCC Exclusive has the wordings "ComicCon Exclusive, San Diago 2006" as below the word 501st Stormtrooper on the front card. ON the back card, you'll see a SDCC logo.

A regular version, however, is simply "501st Stormtrooper" without extra small words ComicCon Exclusive, San Diago 2006. The back doesn't have SDCC logo, instead, a Hasbro logo.

The figures and starcase is all the same. Show-off-fols will tend to laugh and mock that the regular versions are not as worthy as their SDCC version.
I simply don't give the damn. It's all the same except got extra words or not.
