My long-await shore leave is finally here!

Me & my spouse will be on board Superstar Destroyer, er i mean, Superstar Virgo for a one-week getaway cruise vacation from this weekend onward! :D ... Destination: Planet Naboo, er i mean, Bangkok & Ko Samui island! :D ... Hopefully the next time u see my subspace message will be sent from the Outer Rim, er i mean, South China Sea :D ...

Set a course to Thailand ... Hyperspeed! :D

Wow, sounds lovely! :)

I've never been on a cruise holiday... always wanted to try it... at one point, even thought I might want to work on a cruise ship... but then I heard the stories about how rowdy ship crew and staff members can get, and decided that perhaps I'm better off just being a passenger some time in the hopefully not-too-distant future... 8)

You're quite right. Like a lot of cabin crew, most ship crews are a bunch of red necks, and since they're 'stranded' in the middle of the sea looking at the same scenery and people day after day week after week year after year, the only things that get them excited are drinking, gambling, and picking on new recruits, preferable all at the same time... :roll:
