Welcome, Welcome to all of you !

How great to have you on board with us , and it is an honour for us over at this message board that such ardent Trekkies like you also enjoy Star Wars so much too , and we are enjoying your posts !

I am going to start watching my Star Trek movies ( I have most of the old ones, plus all the New Generation ones ) and my Next Generation DVDs ( I think I have the complete series ) to try to catch up with you guys .

How interesting that www.startrek.com.sg is not affiliated to the Star Trek Fan Club ! I guess, at the end of the day, it is how active you want to make of your website, and yours really rocks ! That is very encouraging to us over here at www.starwars.sg .

Sure hope to get to know all of you much better soon ! :D

I remember Darth Vader has his own personal legion of elite Stormtroopers.

Can anyone remember what is the name of this legion?

Check out http://www.501st.com/about_us.htm to find out more about the 501st Legion or also known as Vader's Fist. It's basically a US-based but internationally-known organization that focuses on quality Imperial/Sith costumes...

3 locals, Timothy, Reno & I, are the members of the Singapore Outpost and we are currently recruiting more troopers...

Fan Force Sg is currently in the process of establishing the sister organization of the 501st, known as the Rebel Legion.

501st implies Darth Vader and Stormtroopers

Rebel Legion implies the rebels led by Leia and Mon Mothma

Does it not that these two are on opposite sides? hence contradictory?

Shouldn't any sister organization should have a name complimenting the correct side?

The term 'sister' is used probably because we are all SW costumers... just having different preferences in costumes... In fact, both the 501st and the Rebel Legions often compliment each other during events... No rivalry or hostilities whatsoever... :)

LOL. :D Good to hear.

I wasn't saying about rivalries or hostilities. I just thought the name was somehow not appropriate, however, after your explanation, I guess it is alright.

Hi everyone, my first day here, got to know of this forum thru a seller from ebay. I'm mostly into 3.75" figures and vehicles, has been collecting since POTF2 came out.
