@Gordonator: goo thingy?

@recon: You still getting the Novus plastic polish? Count me in, I'll need one of those.

I'm not too sure 'bout the nomex gloves..maybe next time. Are there any new E-11 holsters up and about? I'll need to buy one

Its GOOP...one of the best super glues available. They come in various types. The best one for us is the OUTDOORY version. Anyway, we don't need that much for putting the suit together and I have more than enough. Its good to get a tube though to keep at home.

Nomex flight gloves are the BEST stormtrooper/sandtrooper gloves as they are absolutely movie accurate, however, you can use any set of black gloves.
The holsters we can get locally for SGD$30. Our brother Yen has a craftsman that makes them for us. They are made in mock(fake) leather which makes them cheaper and light weight.

Yups im trying to get my orders in for the Novus Polisher. Haldir also wanted to get some the other time. Maybe will order some when confirmation on quantity is reached.

Les bro you sure on the size 11 cos its kinda of humongous. Gloves sizes are usually base on goalkeeper glove size..mine is only about size 8 to 9.

Ok guys, found another source for nomex gloves..this time its mil specs compliant and made of Dupoint thermal resistant fibre, Kingarms quite a famous brand for law enforcement and military agencies.

Another cheaper alternative for the same seller:

http://cgi.ebay.com/US-Military-GI-Assa ... 3.l1262#PG

Keith or any senior TKs, could you guys comment on which ver is complaint with 501st requirements and movie accurate, cos im quite worried about the wrist band for Nomex gloves posted in the first link. Or the other version in the 2nd link would be sufficient enough?

Guys, I'll buy the plastic sheets from Art Friend for you. That way, I'll know for sure that its the right kind. We use those for the belt. You can either just have the plastic strips for the belt or you can cover them with canvas which is what I did to make it more movie accurate! :)

Ok, as for the glove sizes, I'm going by my Nomex gloves. Mine are size 10 and are a little tight on me. Size 11 should be better for average sized hands. If yr not sure, write to the seller and give them measurements of yr middle finger and thumb for example. That could help. BUT I think its safe to follow my size 10 as its Nomex gloves we're talking about here and not goal keeper ones.

Recon, not sure what 'wrist band' yr talking about in the first post for Nomex gloves. There shouldn't be any labels or straps on original style Nomex flight gloves. Just make sure its black.

Anyway, guys...pls remember that the legion is not strict on the gloves you use. Most of our guys aren't even wearing Nomex. SO just find a set that is reasonable in price and order it. No point discussing gloves into such detail here when it is something that is mostly hidden under the hand armor anyway. :)

Just an update, seems that the previous links are removed by ebay, thus i have source two more tactical flight gloves (used in airsoft) which are cheap and affordable, similar to nomex flight gloves design. Have sent a note of enquiry to the sellers, now waiting for their confirmation on shipping/payment
