Your favourite novel

Which novel made you proud to be a SW fan?

Mine would be the Thrawn trilogy books by Timothy Zahn....because he introduced a great villain in Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Stopped reading the latest books, but among those that I read, Thrawn series probably rank one of the tops. The next would be the Xwing series, the first in the series with Wedge, not Corran Horn.

Also Fan of the Thrawn Trilogy as it was what rekindled my liking for SW into a big passion back in 1995. ;) The Hand of Thrawn Duology is also not bad IMHO.

The X-Wings Series, inclusive of the Wraith Squadron is also my favourite.

But stop reading the novels after the NJO series started.

Tim's Thrawn trilogy, hands down. He gave us Mara Jade & Thrawn, 2 of the most intriguing EU characters IMHO

ah books my specialty...well...by far Matthew Stover has done the best work...the words...the phrases...the means something, not like all that nonsense which fills peoples minds with silly ideas...next comes Jude Watson...her jedi apprentice series...fast bold...filled with fun...and the rest of course...i do not want to watse saliva :P haha

James Luceno isn't bad either. Labyrinth was great. I used to love Jude Watson in p4, when they cost $^, then stopped buying them when the price rose to $11+ . And alan dean foster also did a great job for Approaching storm, considering that i don't like the reest of his work.

Haven't read much SW novels, but I think Labyrinth of Evil was good... now time to get my hands on Dark Lord: Rise of Darth Vader...

I'm actually more excited about the upcoming Darth Bane novel in October 2006.. Finally fans can get a glimpse into the man who brought the Sith into secrecy & ultimately.. victory!!!

Say, which book has that cover that features the full face of darth Maul? Remember seeing one at MPH PArkway last year but just cannot remember the title.
