welcome and thanks for your interest but saying "
don't know" is not the right approach. Costuming is a dedicated hobby and it's good that you do your own research and stuff.
To start off, how old are you?
you may want to check out this thread to enrich yourself with some basic knowledge.

Height is no limit. Most of our troopers are around that height anyway. If it's stormtrooper you seek, the F.I.S.D forum will help a lot in your research.

officially there's no such thing as troop around unofficially. but u are more than welcome to read up and join us at events as a helper which is an important role as well.
has u been to any of our events?

800+ in USD.
in my opinion no hurry on buying the armour. as time goes by, maybe there will be cheaper and better alternatives in future. like our current armour supplier which we discovered last year.
u have 2 years to save up and everything so no worries.
