No. With dry brushing, you use an actual brush...but before you put the brush to the helmet, you brush it off onto a newspaper until the brush is pretty much dry. Then you apply it to the helmet in quick light strokes.

Here's what I've done playing around with 2 of the 3 I got. I didn't seal anything up, just did a little spray paint and dry brushing work.

Hey this kid is wearing ur captain rex helmet right???

C6, otherwise known as Clone6 makes a very popular and highly sought-after Phase 1 Clone helmet. Its been modified from a Kelloggs bucket and includes a separate bottom piece that fits below the helmet to seal the bottom opening once the helmet is on the trooper's head. Paul K has one!
The dimensions of the Hasbro helmet though, were taken off the original blue-prints used for the movie....so apart from the extra big visor area, the seams and the ventilation holes, it is the most accurate Phase 1 Clone helmet available. It needs quite alot of work though to make it totally movie accurate, but its a pretty good base to start from.
Oh sweet!!! I always like the Ep1 helmet... and I only bought one from the 50% sales. I think I will go try to pick up another 2 more pieces if they sales is still on. Btw, where can I get good reference for this bucket? Thanks!
