Starwars.sg welcomes 2009

--Saturday 3rd January 2009--
We are planning to hold a Starwars.sg gathering in the evening (say 6-9pm) for us to get together and meet up with fellow forum members. The location will be somewhere central, and we'll have some ice-breaker activities and mingle over light finger food and beverages (strictly non-alcoholic).

Details will be firmed up over the next week. Cost per head will likely be around $10-15.

Add your name to list to indicate if you are keen. You are welcome to bring your friends and family too. Just indicate the number of guests next to your name.

Dudes & Dudettes,
Thanks for the responses so far. I hate to be the one to bring this update... but the gathering will be postponed

With the holiday season and then Chinese New Year festivities coming soon after, the proposed new date for the gathering is March 2009, during the school break. Hope that will suit the time schedules of those of you schooling, teaching, or planning to bring your kids along.

Meantime, Happy New Year 2009 to everyone. May you have a great year ahead
