Freeing the vehicle from its packaging 'prison'...Y-wing starfighters are powerful vessels in the Rebel Alliance fleet, with ample firepower that includes laser cannons and proton torpedoes. The Rebel forces make do with whatever vehicles they can obtain, and the sturdy Y-wing is a good fighter for them because it can withstand heavy attack and still remain space-worthy. During the Battle of Yavin, Y-wing fighters fend off Imperial fighters to clear a path for the Rebels to reach the Death Star's vulnerable exhaust port. Rebel pilot Lieutenant Lepira flies Glod Four, the point Y-wing for Gold Squadron at the Battle of Yavin, but is shot down during that pivotal battle.

Apart from the change in the astromech used, no longer the R2 series, but now the R5 series, the forward laser cannons look more realistic this time round. The engine internal's are painted to show that it's running hot. And, the weathering for it is quite well done this time too.

Let's take a look at the figures...
Here's Lt. Lepira (Y-Wing Pilot) & R5-F7 (Astromech Droid),
R5-F7 has another part of him that's retractable when you turn his dome, like so,
The 'Bomb'...
Seriously... it looks like anything but a proton torpedo.
And here's some comparison pics with the previous repainted release...
P.S. Recently, due to the re-opening of the United Square branch, these were cleared at SGD$29.90 per piece. And it was stated that its 1 piece per customer per transaction. It was good enough to say that the stocks were wiped out at the branch on the 2nd day. Anyway, I bought my 2nd Y-wing at the sale itself.
