Hello there all, and cheers for accepting me :)

Where do I start? Lifelong (well since '77) Star Wars fan (was 4 at the time - R2D2 was my first favourite!) and been following the Saga since then.

Found out about you lot when cantina hopping down Clarke Quay and seen a stormie or two... of course a huge grin grew on my face and got some photos taken asd asked what the 'craic' was....found out about the Singapore 501st....that took me to thier website, and reviewing the site recently came across this one! (Very nicely put together too!)

Been working in Singapore for over 2 years now (also been in Malaysia during 95 for a year) and am currently working my way through the novels, and a few Dark Horse graphic novels in between beer and women :)

Also, been playing Star Wars Galaxies on the Chimaera server, and play a jedi and a smuggler (3rd toon trying to get the creds to respec back to trader to sell holos and such crap! lol)

Apart from that I'm a Geordie, (North East England), working with our family business.... (Polyurethane Chemist) ... and am very celtic (without ginger hair..lol) so that puts me off my wishes of wakeboarding and such..hope to get round to snowboarding with me mates though eventually.

I kinda describe my home town (Chester-le-Street...google it :) ) as Dantooine meets Coronet, and describe to my mates Singapore as Yavin4/Kashyyyk meets Coruscant...what an image to conjour with!

Phew there ya go.

Oh and the Jedi / sith thing....more like Jacen Solo around the beginning of Legacy....

One newbie welcoming another! :lol:

Same as you, fan since 77'. Got into a lot of other genre but still return to SW, always stronger than before and always leaving a huge hole in me wallet.

I am often outstation and only discovered this place recently and decided to join up immediately.

Talk about the graphic novels, darn, don't even remember where I left off. Always asking for more and when they did, can't keep up with them.

I was in Geordie land (Newcastle upon Tyne) for a couple of years doing my HND.

If you even find yourself going to East Malaysia (Sabah to be excat) give me a shout. I'm the one holding the SW fort over here :wink:
