Lawrence of Arabia the movie is a 1962 Classic about a British officer serving in Cairo. Based off a true story.

He wore robes similar to the Tusken Raiders [Arab style].

One great movie that brings back lots of my childhood memory. But its also reminding me I'm getting old.

Tim you must be a serious movie buff. How can you even know the year of the movie? Scary.

Yen,

I love old movies...I'm not hardcore per say but I have my moments...with LOA, it's got 4 of the most respected actors of yesteryear...IMHO. Peter O'Toole, Alec Guinness, Anthony Quinn and Omar Sharif. Now that's a stellar cast!

Plus, it's set in the desert, Cairo to be exact...and a Sandtrooper loves the desert. ;)

Stay safe,

Tim.

Tim just like yourself they are in my list of favourite hardcore actors which may have somewhat influenced my preference for the british blend of acting since. Absolutely comfortable to see Alec Guiness back in the desert no?

My facination with desert started from the british desert rats and later of course by the sandtroopers.

Sorry for the off-topic Ivan, switching back to you now.
