LATEST UPDATE...

Due to concerns, I have to reduce the number of costumers to 6... And the school had requested for costumers with helmets, and the TIE Fighter Pilot costume was considered scary... So here's is the deployment for Friday...

We'll gather at the school at 9 am for a briefing and to familiarize ourselves with the premise.

We'll suit up by 10 am and visit the lower primary kids in their classes during their class parties... About 10 kids per class and about 20 classes in total... We'll divide into 2 groups for this... At 11.15 am, we'll all go on stage during the concert and I'll go about introducing each character to the kids... After the concert, we'll take photos with any kids who want to...

A changing room will be provided for us, as well as drinks and some snacks... We can have our lunch at the cafe before calling it a day...

The costumers were unable to snap photographs as they had to entertain the children (and also the teachers, haha!

A big thank you to Don, Soo Cheow, Daniel, Keith, Shawn, Florence, Jeanette & Fatimah for taking time off for our appearance at Pathlight and bringing so much joy to the kids and staff there. And thanks to the troopers for being so sporting on stage...

Had an great time. First time I boogied in my Biker scout costume on a stage. But I had 5 other imperials up there with me as well.

I think its the first time in Singapore people saw star wars characters dance like that haha....

OK guys! Here're the long-awaited pics! They look a bit rushed cos Florence was asked to take photos with the teacher's camera also, so she had to quickly swap back and forth to try to get everything on both cameras. Also, you'll notice we had to blurr the faces of the kids to respect the parents' wishes.

Oh and BTW, the reason I'm in blind-man's sunglasses is bcos its the only one I have with anti-fog coating...that and it looks cooler! Haha... All in all, it was damn fun today! The dancing on stage was something new and I'm so glad this armor didn't fall apart (except for the thermal cannister) considering its the first trooping with it.

Actually, I'm hoping to see the pics the school has. Didn't manage to get much pics of Desmond, Soo Cheow and Daniel who were in the other team.

Thanks for the great photos.

I really had a great day trooping with all you guys and had fun with the children. Thumbs up for our minders too - JediJean, Fatimah and Florence.

Really hope to participate in such meaningful event in the future. Hopefully can troop for children hospital, orphanage etc...

The blurring of the kid's faces should apply to all pictures that are shared in the open forum. Non-blurred ones can be shared privately.
