Any Ficcers here?
W00T! Whee... a fanfic forum here!
I just wanna know if there are regular fanficcers here... I'm quite regular at Jedi.Net, same name. Do S'poreans sound the same on paper (oops, screen) as they sound in a normal medium?
So before I start putting up work... let me say something...
WRITING HELPS YOU A LOT IN GP!!!!!
(Not that I take it.)

Before I write something, I need to have an interesting idea, good enough to get me very interested. So far, I do not have any idea.
I was pretty good at GP once.

At our Star Trek forum, we some kind of story relay, someone will start a story plot and stop at an interesting point, someone else will then take over and develop the story and pass on to the next person and so on. The story can get rather wild. I rather we do not try this now as this increases the number of postings rather unfairly, not at this time when there is a competition on.Darsha Assant wrote:They're known as plot bunnies... we should have one thread.I need to have an interesting idea, good enough to get me very interested. I believe my GP was good because I read a lot, lots and lots, novels, magazines etc. I kaypo a lot and read up on other people's opinions and ideas. As a result I am able to write a balanced essay which is my strong point. Usually I take no more than 30 - 40 min to write one GP essay. I had 2 years of training to write it in this short span. I was able to earn some pocket money by contributing to magazines and getting paid. I had won in essay competitions too.Commander Faie wrote:Any GP tutor volunteers?
So I do not know how to teach. I write well basically because I read a lot.

Darsha did a good one. Check it out. Need not be something fantastic.ThRAwn wrote:Ooh, I love to write, too... but nothing on SW yet because... er... I dunno, actually. I guess I didn't know where to start, haha...
How about a day in the life of Luke Skywalker when he was a kid? He did not have such a colourful life as compared to his father as a kid. Or how about something on Ben Kenobi checking out Luke Skywalker, now and then to ensure that he is alright?
