Hello Everyone,

I'm new to this site. Been an SW fan since I was in P6...in 1994...back during my Haig Boy days. Haha.

Anyway, got a copy of Invicible when it was first launched. This is one of the longest SW Expanded universe series. I believe it is the longest! I tot that the one with the Yzuuhan Vong was long.

Interesting novel we have here. Now I cant wait for the new SW novel. The one with Han and Leia and someone new (I dun wanna say anything here.hahaha..dun wanna write spoiler)...and explore the beginings of the Millenium Falcon.

So how did you peeps find the book...?I found it heavy..coz it was hardcover...hahaha

Hey there..welcome to the forum...

I saw the hardcover for Invincible yesterday at Borders, Parkway Parade. Costs 'bout $50. So expensive compared to the paperbacks... LOTF sure is long.. can't wait for the new series...

Do you happen to have the hardcover edition of Sacrifice?

Hello,

I bought mine INVICIBLE online. I got it for $36 Sing. If you wanna buy SW books, go to this website

www.acmamall.com

It is a Singapore Based Online bookstore. It gives discounts :). INVINCIBLE happen to be on 20% discount. :)

Yup yup, I have the hardcover version of Sacrifice. Again got if from the website. The website is good in a sense, the more books u buy from it..u get points which can be used to offset prices of future purchases.

You wanna borrow the hardcover ?

Hi deputylove8 and welcome to the group. :)

For buying books, one way to get a good bargain locally is to get hold of the Borders "Monthly" Discount Coupons from online. Every 1-3 months, they will have 20-40% off coupons to be printed out from their The Shortlist Website and Borders Members get additional 10% Off the Net Price (after deducting the 1st discount).

I usually get my books from Borders during that time even tho' Borders charged higher or "fixed" price than Kinokuniya (Eg: Manga cost SGD20.90 at Borders while at Kino, it can range from SGD14-18 depending on exchange rate).

(Click on the Shortlist to register)

Thanks a lot Haldir. That's one good info. I didn't know that such discounts are extended to SW books. I thought they would usually belong to books under the "Books-that-people-never-read" umbrella. Haha.

Once again, thanks a lot for the info!Really appreciate it.

I was at Borders yesterday and ask for a paperback version of Invincible and was told that there is no paperback version. There is only the hardback version, so this left me puzzled.

I went to Borders to check based on the comments here.

I know I could not find paperback version on Amazon.

For interest sake, are you aware that there are audio versions?
:D
