alternate ending

I don’t know lah but sometimes when I watch ROTJ, I feel that how Palpatine die is abit cheesy….

I feel that it should be more dramatic. So, this is my personal ‘alternate’ way how Palpatine die…..just for fun

Scene:
When Luke is on the floor suffering in pain from Palpatine’s Force lightning.

Vader feels that his son is in pain and with his left hand, used the Force to grab Luke’s lightsaber. He quickly ignites and cut off Palpatine’s right hand.
Palpatine stops Force lightning and screamed in pain. He stared at Vader and said something like: “I’d never expect you to betray me Lord Vader!”

Vader said: “This is something you failed to see Sidious! Your rule will end NOW!”
Palpatine said: “You are arrogant Vader. I used you. You will NEVER destroy me!”

Vader jumps (summersault) towards Palpatine.
Palpatine (with left hand) draws out his lightsaber and ignites.

Duel between Master and Apprentice begins. For the first time, a never-before-seen left-handed swords play. Duel more intense than Obi-Wan vs Anakin in Ep.3.

Luke still in pain, watched.

Fight, fight, fight….

Sidious injures Vader. Vader injures Sidious.

Fight, fight, fight….

Vader’s mask cracked by Sidious’ lightsaber. A portion of Vader’s face exposed.

Lightsabers clashed. Fighting paused.

Vader said: “You end is now Sidious. Anakin Skywalker has returned (hence, the Return of the Jedi”
Sidious (looking abit frightened) said: “The Chosen ONE?.....”

Then, with great strength, Sidous kicked Anakin away. Sidious discard his laser sword and ignites Force lightning at Anakin. Anakin got thrown a few meters back and his (Luke’s) laser sword dropped from his hand. Anakin is now on the floor moaning in pain.

Luke saw what happened and screamed: “Father!....Noooo!”

Sidous laughed wickedly. He won’t let Anakin destroy him.

Through the crack on his helmet, Anakin looked at Luke. His vision is abit blur. Then, comes the ultimate moment: Anakin saw a flash-back of his entire life. He saw himself, Slave boy Anakin in Tattoine and the people he loved in this life: his mother Shmi, his wife Padme, Yoda, Obi-Wan and the most touching part….he saw Qui-Gon...

Anakin snaps back, stood up (but not straight) and tried Force choke on Sidious. It did not work. Sidious projects more Force lightning at Anakin.

Then, Anakin heard Qui-Gon’s voice. “Anakin, I have a gift of Power for you. Use it. Redeem yourself for you ARE the chosen ONE…..the Force is with you”

Confident, Anakin now absorbs Sidious’ Force lightning (like how Yoda did) but as though he is absorbing Sidious’ powers as well. Sidious looked weakened. His face became more disfigured and wrinkled. Anakin then deflects the Lighting towards Sidious.

Sidious got thrown back and falls down the shaft and screams ‘Ahhhhhhh’ before burning and exploding into ashes….

Then the story continues as normal…….

MAN!! That is quite an ending! If the entire trilogy was really intended to be about Vader as GL now claims, yes, this is the perfect ending. Then he would really be the chosen one and the title of Return of the Jedi would resonate with a new meaning altogether. Very cool very cool indeed.

Hey Dex ,

Not bad, man, not bad at all ..... you have some great ideas there, and it would certainly make the ending of ROTJ far more dramatic .

I especially like the fight, fight , fight scenes ! LOL

Good job ..... are you a writer or taking up film or script writing or something ?

Let's have some fun with alternative endings ...

Scene:
Luke is on the floor suffering in pain from Palpatine’s Force lightning.

Vader feels that his son is in pain and with his left hand ... he take off his helmet and throw it at Emperor Palpatine!

Palpatine: kan ni na bek ... what the hell r u doing!!!

Vader: huh, i'm Anie Skywalker, best Sith in Naboo and Tattoine, and some said Coruscant, so don't play play ...

Nice alternate ending DEX. However before you copyright that you might want to change your 'laser sword' to 'lightsaber'

Or is that done purposely to prevent infringing on copyright laws?

But if Vader's mask cracks than the later part of the ending would be a little diffrenent dont u think?

And Dex i think u would be a VERY good script writer

your ending must be rated for language ..... hehe
