Definitely. THAT is exactly how I feel . The 3 year wait between the films ( not to mention the 18 year wait between the classic trilogy and prequels ) was excruciating, but at least there was something to look forward to with great passion and expectation.
That feeling has all but fizzled out, and that is sad . TV projects just don't seem to invoke the same kind of passion that feature films do .
Not only that - if TV projects are animation based only then all the more it won't be what it was like in the movies and if Young Indiana Jones is an indication of what the TV projects will be, then I am even less interested....
Nostalgia will kill you......

Watching Eps 1-6 in the numerical order, Kenobi does seem like a crazy old man
in ANH when he tells Luke his father wanted him to have his lightsaber n' Anakin was killed by Vader. And when it comes to ESB, when Leia kisses Luke, urgh

well kenobi was protecting Luke from the real truth as Luke isn't ready for it.
and yeah. Kenobi is quite a drinker. crazy old man suits him well to disguise the fact that he is a Jedi Master
