Ralph McQuarrie's Episode IV Concepts

Concept Artist Ralph McQuarrie played a big part in bringing Star Wars to the screen, fleshing out George Lucas' imagination on paper in order to convince 20th Century Fox to make the movie. In McQuarrie's original concepts, everyone in the Star Wars universe used lightsabers, not only the Jedi.
