Anyone keeping track of this?

Reviews of this new release has not been good. I got the news from my niece working in US.

Amazon's piece is here:

Anyone here bought the DVD so far?

I did not realise all 3 were released at the same time.
I thought they were released one after another throughout the month, can't remember whether Sep or Oct month.

How much did it cost locally?

e.g. I checked Dr Who Season 1 in Singapore is $50 more expensive than if I bought it at Amazon.COM after conversion and paying for postage and packaging.

Read from Starwars.com that it's supposed to be 12 Sep. Not sure if it's one after another though. It's definitely the original trilogy in 3 separate packaging.

Costs around $44.90, regional code 1

Borders is selling all three for S$105.

It looks like no one here bought them.

From the response to this topic, I just most of the people here prefer Episode I to III and perhaps Episode IV to VI does not appeal.

By that time, I would probably be unemployed if I am still alive then, I probably could not afford it then. Unchanged theatrical release may not be included too.

Borders is having 20% discount today, Sunday 5 Nov. A friend who was shopping there called me and told me quite a few people were buying the Starwars DVDs.

Those who have been waiting for the DVDs to go on offer, now's your chance. A few more hours till they close for the day. Hopefully, you have been visiting the forum regularly and read this in time though...

Working the whole weekend so did not access the forum much.

I have been browsing around the various stores in Singapore. Most are more expensive than Borders. In fact, if you can get all three for less than $100, then it should be a good buy.

Region free versions are now available at $35. Got mine today. Though non anamorphic, I prefer this to its special edition counterpart. And its great to see the defel and shistavanen in the cantina again
