THE GALACTIC SENATE

It was just two years ago when I still hadn't been acquainted with the guys at the 501st yet. Back then I would always be enthralled whenever I see the familiar white-armoured fellows trooping into some cosplay event and whatnot. Of course now's not the case lah, I walk beside them like nobody's business and do my job of keeping an eye out for my comrades in their vision-impairing buckets.

Here are some photos I took years ago and published onto my long-running blog. Been saved from countless hard drive crashes. Just thought I'd inquire who these guys were, out of curiosity. Doesn't matter if you can't tell which TK is which. You can just affirm whether you were at that event or not.

Bro, I remember reading yr BLOG when you posted back then. You called us 'Danny Choos' if I remember correctly. haha... Anyway, soon you'll be in the armor. Its shipped out last week and we should get it very soon.

Haha, at that time I was more oriented to the cosplay side of things.

So it was only 2 years ago when I first encountered William and your TX armour. Back then I guess it really never occurred to me that, 2 years later, I'll be the one donning that armour and joining you guys for a troop. It's something quite interesting to ponder about, eh?

Come to think of it, I never got the pleasure of seeing Vader at that time. I think it's because Chris B. hasn't joined us yet? Or maybe the only person possessing a Vader costume at that time was Reno...

The Vader at that event was David Yung.
He was the Vader at St Patrick's Day Parade for the last 2 years.

Oh yeah, I think Reno was doing the Borg-assilimated Capt. Picard at that time.

You mean at Cosfest 2007?

Nah, for the one at Ngee Ann City, I think Reno didn't manage to come due to some family commitments. And at Downtown East, he's probably in another costume.

So any Star Trek character you see will be from StarTrek.Com.Sg as before this year's Chingay, Reno's Borg was WIP I think.

Actually I just found out his was Locutus, worn only during last year's Chingay.
