On 7 & 8 Dec 06, members of the 501st Legion joined staff of volunteers from the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre to commemorate National Volunteer Day at Suntec City Convention Centre.
During the event, legion members, together with volunteers, encouraged shoppers and visitors to fold paper cranes. Each crane would reap a bowl of rice for the needy from the sponsor Song He Rice.
