Post by Plo Strax-Avix » Mon Nov 27, 2006 9:38 pm

MySciFiFan Outpost is now officially open. Located at level 2, Cineleisure Damansara (right next to The Curve), it is Malaysia's first Movie Themed Community Centre.

Have some time to kill before watching a movie at the Cineplex, or waiting for a friend to come out from a movie? The MySciFiFan Outpost is the perfect place to hang.

You can also shop for (and order) toys and collectibles at the Outpost, apart from signing up for out many plan activities.

Wanna get together for a nice game of Warcraft or D&D with your mates, but don’t know where to go? Well you can do it at the MySciFiFan Outpost, and at the same time satisfy your palette with a sumptuous serving of Curry Chicken w/rice, Spaghetti Bolognaise, or a snack combo platter of deep fried sausages, chicken nuggets and French Fries.

We have loads more delicious F&B offerings if you’re just looking for a place with a difference to dine in. So if you happen to be in the area, do come on over and check us out.

The address is Lot 208 (ii), Cineleisure Damansara, Mutiara Damansara.

Find The Curve and Ikano Power Centre, and you'll find Ceneleisure Damansara. Its just down the road from One Utama.

I'll be there till end of December, so hope to see you there Jar!

Maybe you guys can organise a trip to KL this December for a get-together? Like what the Malaysian contingent did in 2004 & 2005.

The only place similar I can think of in Singapore is Settlers. However their activities are limited to board games.

On the other end of the scale you have Planet Hollywood.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! (and the free promo :D)

Things has improved quite a bit since the Halloween party. We managed to fix our uneven floor, and will be sealing it with a new floor treatment system next week. The folding doors for the function room and members' lounge have been installed, and that area will be carpeter next week as well.

Our menu itmes has increased, and we may be offering freshly baked pies and pastries as early as this weekend, if 2 of our workers who are on sick leave are well enough to return to work tomorrow.

And with the Toy Collectors' Flea Market this Sunday we're gearing up for a busy weekend.
