The New Worlds Alliance (NWA), in cooperation with Fully Booked and the
Rockwell Powerplant Mall brings you The 4th Annual Philippine Science
Fiction and Fantasy Convention entitled "A Dream of Infinite
Realities".

Join us as we celebrate imagination, creativity and passion through the
various TV series and movies that we all love. Help us usher in a
summer of wonder as we toast the winners of the first ever Philippine
Graphic and Fiction Awards. Stretch the boundaries of your world by
joining us as we explore worlds that are strange yet familiar.

All this and many more await you on the 15th and the 16th of July at
the Rockwell Tent. Hours are from 10am to 12 midnight each day.

Which part of the Philippines is this happening at again?

Cost-wise, going over there would still be a lot more affordable than flying to the US of A for SD Comic-Con. Budget airlines and decent budget hotels should bring the pricetag lower too. Just in case, throw in a little extra in case you spot a cool collectible or souvenir you want to buy.

From what I know, the event is going to be held in Manila---at Rockwell to be specific. Rockwell is one of the newer, up-market malls over there.

The event was originally slated for April but was postponed (thank gawd, I was swamped with deadlines). Hopefully, this July date pulls through.

By the way, what type of accommodations are you eyeing?

I understand that the venue is at the out-skirt of Makati City (the CBD of Manila), next to Powerplant shopping mall. I only have been there once for a short biz trip, and I enjoyed the food and shopping there.

I don't mind going too for a re-visit if more ppl are interested to go as a group.

Powerplant?? hmmm, isn't that somewhere in or around Ortigas?

Rockwell Tent, the event venue, is near Powerplant Mall.

Powerplant Mall is at Rockwell Drive corner Estrella Street and J.P. Rizal Avenue, Makati City, Metro Manila
