hey guys, I just wanna share a story here...

I'm from Indonesia... and we got a lot o' SW. fans too here...

and we have this indonesian Star Wars community, we called ourselves the Jedi Council of Indonesia (JCI) ^^

and uh, well few months back, November 15th to be exact, we had a colaboration with Addie M.S,he is the conductor of Twilite Orchestra...

and we had this huge event called "Adventure to the Galaxies"

the orchestra played OST from a couple of Sci-Fi movies...
but most of them are Star Wars' songs, by J. Williams

there are exactly two sessions... with an intermission in between...

but! before the 2nd session starts, there was a lightsaber duel between a jedi (a friend of mine) and a sith (ME!!! YAAAAY!!! ^^)

Image

see the left side of the picture?! I was... well as you all might've known, used Vader's ESB FFX while my friend used Anakin's RoTS FFX
and as you can see, above the two of us... there's 'someone' hidden under the robe... THAT is Addie M.S. the conductor... he pretended to be the sith lord, watching, ME the Sith destroyed the Jedi... YAAAAAY HOORAAAY SITH!!!

here's some pic,
Image

The Jedi has fallen...
Image

after the fall of the Jedi, I, the Sith, obtained the 'baton' *conductor's stick from the ground... and gave it to my 'master' (Addie M.S.)
Image

and followed him down the stairs
Image

and the audience didn't realise that it was HIM!
Image

until...
Image

VOILA!
Image

hehehe, so, I hoped you enjoyed the short story

oh, btw, I forgot to put this... the end of the concert...

Thanks for sharing, Agakin.

I had the pleasure of meeting a couple of your countrymen at the Art of Star Wars Exhibition in Singapore. They were interested in acquiring costumes but did not know who to contact in their country. Is there a website or forum that you guys and gals maintain?

Apart from Indonesia, most of the South East Asia countries have established outposts of the 501st Legion. Are there currently any fans in bad guy costumes over there?

Greetings Agakin! :) Welcome to the group! ;)

Looks like you guys had lots of fun over there. ;) I did heard about the Indonesia Jedi Council from someone while at the SW Exhibition and think saw your "Official T-Shirt". So got any website or photo albums for us to see more on the events you have over there? :D

And I do know of an amateur orchestra who intends to perform selections from the movies, including Return of the Sith :)

Greetings Agakin and welcome to our family! That sounds like a really interesting event, would have loved to have been there to catch it! :)

Perhaps we should arrange a joint saber fight together with our boys here. It would make for a wonderful event along with hbng's orchestra! :)
