I write fanfiction, on and off - and when the mood takes me. My forays into fanfic started with journal-based RP-ing, way back in 2000 or 2001, when I found myself somehow involved in a LoTR-based RPG as (of all characters, Idril and several of the Valar).
The entries I made for that RPG are now lost to the internets: however, being involved in a journal-based RPG set the stage for more serious writing experiments.
