Episode II Soundtracks

Post by lhs1701 » Tue Apr 11, 2006 2:32 pm

This is one of the best soundtracks CD if you like listening to beautiful melodies.

One of the most lovely themes are
1) Anakin and Padme
2) Love Theme
3) The Meadow Music

The Tusken Camp theme is well done, the sense of dread and threat is in the music. A sort of tension slowly building up.

Yoda and the Younglings sounded rather whimsical but interesting. it combines some of the other themes.

I recommend listening to Finale too.

I believe Episode III sound tracks is one of the best and will listen to it carefully before posting.

Most memorable tune for me from Episode II was probably the Love Theme (Across the Stars)... I can't for the life of me find the ringtone for it... think it's so cool that Yazid has it (or had it??) as his ringtone!

This tune is significant, cos I believe it's the first time John Williams wrote anything THIS romantic for any of the Star Wars movies... definitely one of my all-time favourite Star Wars songs :)

Someone should use it for a Star Wars theme wedding... **hint hint**

Well if someone here is getting married soon, this would be an idea.

I am sure there are enough Jedis, stormtroopers, etc. with Darth Vader to make the wedding interesting for the guests.

Star Wars can be played all night long. The Throne Room from Ep IV can be use as an intro when the walks in to strut their stuff.

There are plenty of Star War melodies to make the guests relax.

The menu could rename into Star Wars item. Of course the wedding room can be renamed to Mos Eisely Cantina.

'Across the Stars' is nice, second only to that two stanza appearance of the imperial march in the trooping scene. :)

Agreed, Ep II is the most ear-friendly if you're looking for something to listen to in the background when working. 8)

I couldn't agree more... used to study with the Episode 2 OST playing in the background... ok, side-tracking a little here, but it's second best to the Amadeus soundtrack... heard somewhere that Mozart is supposed to be rather stimulating to the brain.

I actually used the Imperial March theme during my wedding dinner - not when we walked down the aisle - when they started serving the food..... and I even had Darth Vader precede the food servers.

Boy that certainly kept the younger kids quiet for the rest of the nite....

You should have gotten the waiters to wear Stormtroopers uniforms and helmets and Jedi robes, when they first walk in.

I love the love theme (oops bad pun). Cried when I first heard it. Yeah, it was the first time John Williams used that much string. Rather sad that it ended on a major (I love the minor key)
