Vol 9 will indeed have more troopers though not as much as you might want. There'll be Commander Keller & snow troopers, Commander Faie & Kashyyyk troopers, and Commander Appo & 501st Legion.
Like lhs1701 said, Vol 8 delves into the stories of many a Jedi (both dark & light). Main ones are Tholme, Quinlan, Aayla, Rancisis, A'Sharad, Zao, Dooku, and Sora. Commanders Faie, Cody, and Bly also made cameo appearances. Best thing about this issue is of course Quinlan Vos' journey and his obsession with finding the second Sith (just as Obi-Wan was obsessed with finding Asajj in Vol 7) though in this case, Vos is willing to break almost every Jedi precepts to achieve his goal, and he does plunge deep into the darkness.

Yo lhs1701!
Same here, it's interesting to read the variety of side stories and back stories in the comics which the SW movies weren't able to touch on. Coupled with cool artwork plus a bag of Doritos and cold can of Coke, it makes the wait between SW movies less agonizing.
Yo Freef!
Neat update! This upcoming tpb is just what I need after missing them as single issues in comic shops.

I was looking for Comics section earlier on to ask the following. Looks like this is a new section here.
Is the Clone Wars compilation of SW: Republic single issues? If not, does the latter have Trade paper backs?
I have seen about 20 over copies of Clone Wars Vol 8 at Kinokuniya Bugis.
Jedi Chard, how do you do after the Bazaar? Another one for you?

Yo Jedi_s!
Freef is correct, SW Clone Wars comics tpbs are compilations of SW Republic comics single issues. Perhaps Dark Horse renamed the series to indicate to casual comic readers that this series ties in closely to events before and after Episode 3.
Side note: Some SW Clone Wars tpbs even incorporate previously released One Shot SW Comics Specials i.e. Count Dooku, Mace Windu, Yoda, etc.
About the bazaar: I was pleasantly surprised that there's a lot of enthusiasm for SW comics tpbs and single issues (I'm glad that my stuff has found new homes too). I'd definitely sign up for another SW bazaar if there's another one.
I totally dig the SW identification cards I bought from you!
Bring more next time!
