HEY EVERYONE!
So, I've wanted to join 501st since I knew they've existed and I've turned 18 this year.

BUT! The age old question awaits - who should I be?

I want to be a cool girl character (eg Mara Jade/Juno Eclipse) but unfortunately I don't think it'll be very cool to keep dying my hair just to suit theirs.

So... Imperial Officer of sort?

You can always wear a wig.

Or if you like to do performances you can always create your own Jedi/Sith character and join FightSaber. =)

Female Imperial Officer! Honestly, some people can be pretty nasty when we are in armour, e.g. giving us a strangle hold or intentionally knocking our helmets from the rear. So, personally, I wouldn't recommend females to troop in full armour, unless their gender is clearly visible, e.g Femtrooper.

I made a costume a few years back, Princess Leia from Star Wars infinites. And I have Darth Vader's Master Replica! (: is it easy to learn all the stunts?

Yeah I've heard those warnings back when I was interested to do Jango Fett xD I even considered playing around with female mandalorian armour!

But yes I'll probably settle for an Imperial Officer. For now.

Alternatively you can always try female Sith Lords that wears some sort of head gear, but that'll require lots of customizations~
Lumiya (Mmmmm~ Turban)
Vestara Khai (Just long hair, brown I think, and some face drawings)
Darth Talon.... ok that 1 probably out of the question *snaps fingers*
Visas Marr... already taken though~
Bastilla when she's a Sith for that short time? But too easily mistaken for Generic Jedi
Ventress.... only if you want to be bald...
Night Sisters, just simple facepaint and cloaks, or armoured if you want, but you might be mistaken for WoW Elves...

Non Sith alternatives
Female Bounty Hunters such as Aurra Sing (bald with... antenna on the head)
Shae Vizla (she's from TOR, Mandalorian)

I don't want to look TOO scary, that thought was already on my mind when I started, which is why I liked Mara Jade and Juno Eclipse. I actually looked through the whole 501st database thingy.

I've never come accross Vestara Khai before, she looks cool!

End of the day, it is pretty much whether you want a) Simplicity, or b) to look Unique~

Simple - Generic Trooper / Officer, most people will know what character you are, common, but very easy to get.

Unique characters - EU characters for eg. Those who never read a single novel/play a single game won't know you, unless you are sith, but you'll be "generic" sith to them. Will take time because the costumes aren't mass produced~

Nice height...can do quite a few characters

Pick the one you want to do most, make up and accessories can change appearances tremendously. If you go along with others' suggestions instead of wat you like you might end up being unsatisfied unless you upgrade later.

I was thinking of upgrading later. My main life goal regarding 501st was getting in while still 18, so I'll probably just be an imperial officer for now?

Alright. Aiming to be the youngest? haha.

I can help you with being a normal Imperial officer, depending on which colour variant you're going for.
