Was asked by a friend if I'm interested in building a remote controlled R2-D2.
I'm seriously considering it. Anyone else keen? The site I believe with all the information I need is as follows:

Well, I just bought 2 R2D2 dusbins from Simply Toys. They're less than a metre tall...could have potential to build remote control system into it....make the top flip open with a push of a button! haha

Wow! Can't wait to see it started and completed.
Heehee....whichever name lah up to you as you are going to be it's "daddy".

Color Scheme, Name and Customization/Extras can always decide later; most important is to get the basic body and electronics inside settle first.

We can make a "recycle-can-R2"

Flip the head and throw in your used cans

I'll leave it to Dranoel to do that one

Just checking the r2 builder sites.... very costly to build a r2 .... Think in all, can get at least 2 costumes...sigh...

Make it a group project with certain parts source out locally, and done over a period of time?
