I know about the Hat. I was suppose to get Kvan to do mine but got distracted by something else. Don't think I can afford her pricetag until I start working.

The uniform, got a couple tailors in mind but not sure how is its quality and how well he/she can follow my sketches & explaination and reference photos plus the pricetag as never try before. Again I got distracted by something else so can't spare the cash for it yet.

Boots costing less than $100 can be found at the Army surplus stores located at that beach road market. I also saw a few weeks back at Royal Sporting House or WOS, Harley Davidson boots costing less than $60. Almost knee high boots will cost more...
Trust me princess~

Can I ask whether the Imperial Uniform is still happening?
As you can see, my Jedi powers are far beyond yours. Now, back down.

Sadly, I think most of us are currently bogged down with our day jobs or other commitments to start on this costume... Here's the link to the best tutorial I've found... Instructions are pretty simple to follow with ready templates...

You may also wish to get in touch with Gandalf Fett who owns the costume for advice.

I was asking around the place on how much will it be if to make the uniform (only the top) for the last two months plus. The one at Orchard Plaza level 2 I think. She told me that it will be around $70 to make the top.

I am thinking on buying the Cloth Material. then slowly save up to get someone to make the top.

you think how much metre of the cloth I must get?

Looking at the costume, you can't go too cheap on the material... You might wanna try those tailors who do coats and jackets...

If you got money to burn, get from Spotlight.

If not, look around at Arab Street or behind Bugis Village 3rd Level.

Black very easy to get but prepared to pay $5/m at least if not regular or bargain hard. It's the Olive-Grey that is harder to match and cost more.

Know where is Sultan Mosque? Arab Street is perpendicular to Sultan Mosque and the nearest MRT is Bugis.

Exit "Raffles Hospital" MRT Exit and walk to your Right away from Bugis Junction and towards Raffles Hospital.

Cross the road towards Golden Landmark SC/Hotel and cut through the SC diagonally.

When you emerge from Golden Landmark, you'll see whole rows of shops selling cloths diagonally in front of you.

Look for the cloths at the Chinese Shops (the are the only ones carrying other than Satin, Silk and Lace Cloths).

One of these days, will post the "Photo Guide" in the new FFSG Forum.
