I've seen the first pik of the armour - ROTJ version and about USD $900. Not sure if that includes the helmet which looks wonky.

cheaper yes, but i guess it is the easier way out..

part of it I guess is that the fan made armour is a kit that you have to trim and put together.

Ya, that part can be a "nuisance" but still can be more "fun" :shock: as can cut and modify the Armor down to size to fit ourselves. :wink:

Don't be too excited about the new 'licensed' costume offer. Word in the community is that they'll be sub-par even at their high price. Just look at Rubies and you know what I mean.

And fan made costumed are not always cheaper. Sure you have the lower end ones (like the FX stormy suit) but you also have the extremely high end ones where a helmet alone cost US$600 + shipping.

Best to spend a bit more money and effort and get a fan made costume, instead of ending up with a licensed one which you STILL need to modify like hell to make it acceptable/accurate.
