Looks good but I'm concerned about 1 thing...size. The chest and abs look really good on the guy in the pic...which we know he has a wide girth from the look of him. Would it look good on an asian frame though. I'm still wondering about the set I'm waiting for - guess I'll only know once it arrives.

The makers of my armor are a team that call themselves NRG Studios. They were the guys that made the famous Boss/Delta38 armor that was shown all over the web.

Jacen, who's yr contact for RC armor? I'd like to check out their helmet. Baz came over yesterday and mentioned that the RC helmet I have should be a bit taller and slimmer. This based on the RC artwork and game stills.

From the looks of the pic above, the armors are built to accomodate Ang Moh body size in the States. MandalorianBleahhh, they are using ABS to make these Republic Commando hard parts, am I correct on this?

Haven't they learnt ANYTHING!?!?! By now everybody should know that 0.090 gauge vacuum formed ABS plastic can ONLY protect you from blaster pistols, but will be USELESS from a balster rifle or a lightsaber!!!

They need to use AT LEAST 0.120 gauge vacuum formed ABS plastic!!

You guys better source for another Trade Federation supplier!

Hahaha...yr probably right about the blaster fire protection. I'm not fussy though...my only prob with ABS is that it would be too glossy for an RC. They're supposed to have matt white base armor...maybe even a little greyish. I'm already planning to give mine a matt white coat with grey and silver battle damage. :)

They may be REPUBLIC Commandos, but the Trade Federation are the ones who control all the commerce in the Republic. Just like the Empire had to get Kuat Drive Yards and Blast Tech to make their vehicles and weapons :P

Looks cool! I'm going to order the helmet and backpack! Then I'll compare which of the 2 helmets is nicer. I won't order the armor as I already have a set coming from NRG Studios so I'll wait for that.
Any other orders out there? I'm planning to place the order on Friday evening. Just add yr name to the list. :)

RC Order List:
1. mosske- Helmet + backpack
2.
3.
4.

the price really looks TEMPTING!~ But i might not be able to churn out the cash as of now.

I might give it a pass for now...but i will be hopping in on the RC banwagon once I can afford it (without cutting off any arms and legs!!!).

Anyone know a good source for the DC-17? The guy who's making my armor is selling it for USD$400! Which is expensive...although it does come with the various attachments. I'm still looking for a cheaper alternative...perhaps in the range of USD$200-300. Spent too much on the RC already as it is. :(
