I'm more interested in finding out how much the folks who made the costume will be pricing the kits in future.

I belive this is the Version u talking abt:

If my limited knowledge is correct, the elongated chin version, is the first generation of the RCs ever sculpted. And its belived that the limited amount of reference, resulted in this sculpt.

however, it was widely accepted and many bought it.

The one Paul posted, the smalle chin one, only appeared some time last year. Many still stuck to the Elongated chin versions, as it was some kind of 'divide' between the new bloods and the older veterans.

But we are seeing a slow shift of the elongated versions upgrading to the more accurate shorter chin ones.

I am ordering a set of RC armor and a helmet. Its still being processed and due to the large amount of orders that the maker can handle, it will cost some what between $1000 to $1100 USD.

DT is doing both, whole suit and helmet alone. Eric is the sculptor of the whole thing. DT is doing the selling. How far down are you on the list?

I believe the RC designation is not on the 501st charter currently.

From what I do know, RCs are CTs (Clone Troopers) who have undergone additional training. That explains why RC are under the Clone Troopers detachment in the 501st. So to answer your question, if CT are Imperials, then it would make sense that RCs would be Imperial as well. What the heck, it's only a game.

Just got this piece of info from Stateside. All RCs are currently under the TC prefix so that means that they are Imperials. According to replies I received on this topic at the Clonetroopers Detachment, the charter is being updated for inclusion of the RCs as they have appeared in game, novels and the EP3 Visual Guide. As for the colour scheme, that's in debate right now. Thus far, the base armour is light grey. I'm not making this up as it came directly from Author Karen Traviss who wrote the RC books. As each RC was allowed individual paint scheme, it may come to pass that a certain range of colours will be acceptable.

By the way, Omega squad from the RC books are all matt black armour.

it will be really tricky for the legion to decide on the RC color... hee hee... or else it will be christmas decoration in there.. glad I am just a trooper... but I will love my RC to be clean white or desert weathered.. hee hee... not that I will even get one for myself... too bulky and roboty for me liking... U guys have fun!

From the little I know, it will be guidelines with some room to be creative as that would be in keeping with the RC. Lucas himself gave the order that the RC would be able to customise their armour to individual desires. This came from karen who has been posting in the guidelines thread. She said that GL wanted it that way. Of course, you won't see a pink poka dot colour scheme but that's where the guidlines come in and each GML would then interpret those guidlines and process each application for approval.
