Yup...from Star Fortress. Got it on Wednesday. Was crossing my fingers that I'll get it and that the gloss will match the FX armor. So far having luck with my purchases from them.

Hehe, the answer is no. There were times when a few kids gave me the bear hug. I couldn't afford to lower my head too quickly to look who it was as I would risk poking the person's head with the 'beak' of my DS Gunner helmet.

Way to go guys.

Daniel, cool DS Gunner. Can't quite tell from the pics but did you do the bib or leather vest version?

Mosske, nice balck hole. Is that the dreaded "starfortress" version?

The armor is FX but the helmet IS from from Star Fortress! LOL... Pretty nice size and gloss to match the body armor. Once again lucky.

Ack. My debut post. I'm..er..post-shy. <GULP>

Just wanna apologise for the less-than-ideal photos. I don't usually fare so poorly, but I guess the fumbling around with 2 cams got to me - I should only be allowed to handle 1 electronic device at any one time...my untrained, tech-unsavvy brain can't handle the stress otherwise.

Lesson learnt that cam should be set to quickshot mode if one intends to be experimental with action shots. Thank you all for your forgiveness, i shall strive to do better the next time.

I had a great time though - thank you for the opportunity. It was lovely to see little children's faces light up with joy at the sight of all of you. :P
i purr, therefore i am.

I brought my bib and balaclava along but I shelved the balaclava as it's not the 'open face' type (more like a ninja) and we had to remove and put on our helmets repeatedly to show our faces, hence not feasible. I also ditched the bib after a last minute consideration.

After looking at the recent SAGA Death Star Gunner with the stormtrooper-esque chest and back armor, my mind is drifting again ;)

Haha.

Btw, kudos to Keith and Florence on the photo editing to protect the identity of the children.
