Azmi, LOL. Oh I don't mind doing Padmé, if someone makes the costume. *nods* Currently very broke. Actually, that's my financial situation all the time.

Darsha, A recognisable SW outfit eh... I think the pastel gown would be pretty obviously Star Wars, but I have gone through all the net resources I could find on that dress (including Padawan's Guide and the JC Forum thread - which took me a few weeks just to read everything and absorb it cos it's so bloody long) and I can say it's not the easiest dress to do. But if you want to attempt it, I suggest read up as much as you can.

I think the Fireplace corset dress is quite Star Wars-y too. And I think, less work. Oooh another awesome Padmé outfit I've always loved is the Tatooine poncho. The second outfit she wears in Tatooine. (http://padawansguide.com/blue.shtml) But not very easy cos of all the embriodery.

Yea, to wear the light blue Tatooine outfit and the Family gown (basically the midriff ones) you need to be thin and have a flat tummy. Which I think should be no problem for you. *g*

IMO Padmé's white battlesuit isn't really a prom outfit. :)

   You haven't seen all of me. My stomach muscles are abnormal -- the top part is damn hard but the bottom is flabby. *need to do more crunches*

Hmm ok that eradicates some choices.

One of our former FFSG members did Leia's Ceremonial Gown for her Prom. She's also from NJC and graduate a few years ago, think 2-3 years?

To have a photoshoot, you must have a costume. To have a costume, you must have money. It all boils down to that same point. *g*
