In 1976, Andrew Ainsworth and Shepperton Design Studios created the original helmets and armour for the greatest sci-fi fantasy film of all time. Now, almost 30 years on and for the FIRST time ever, YOU can own an exclusive 1:1 collectable replica of the original movie helmets and armour. Produced and endorsed by Andrew Ainsworth at Shepperton Design Studio's, these unique props offer collectors a rare opportunity of owning some of the most iconic designs of modern cinema.

S005 - ARMOUR - AT LAST – You can now own accurate replica Stormtrooper Armour – from the original maker.

Shepparton Design Studios' new armour is an accurate replica of the armour produced in 1976, only using todays more advanced production techniques and thermo-plastics. Made of acrylic capped ABS this rugged armour has been made not only to look great on a mannequin (not supplied) but also strong enough to withstand the rigours of costuming. The ABS matches the same colour hues of the original helmets as well as our own current range of Stormtrooper helmets so you can combine it with the Stunt, Hero or Battle-Spec range of helmets.

Note that white boots, blaster and helmet are not provided. Battle Helmet is sold separately. Comes ready-to-wear straight out of the box with a professional "popper" integrated strap system. The makers have also ensured there is enough of a tolerance in the armour such that it can accommodate various body dimensions with sizes typically varying from 5'6" to 6'2" with various builds. However as a modular design it can easily be adapted for people outside the core dimensions. Supplied with or without the battle-spec helmet this is a collectable you will want to wear. 4K and no free helmet??? hmmm.... actually... there had been words round in 501st about the quality of SDS for a while... not as accurate as they used to back in the 70s but still freaking expensive... hee hee... Anyway... Accurate armour dun comes in ABS... hee hee..

How come both normal and elite member price are not 10% and 20% off the retail price hah?

Its an ESB trooper lah. Look at the 'shell' on the guy's gloves. The ANH STs had the rounded shaped one and were chunkier. but the esb version was kinda more fierce looking anyway.

With 4k I could get 3 suits tho..... albeit not so authentic lah...
