My New ANH Sandtrooper Display

Post by TD 6325 » Tue Jan 01, 2008 2:35 pm

Hey all,

Over the weekend, I decided that I needed a shorter mannequin to wear my retired Sandtrooper armor and well, I went out and bought another. Female this time, and damm close to my height [yes, I'm short!. :)

Her name's Jesse and here she is, in one of my fav poses.

Pete [the original 7ft tall mannequin] will now be the basis of my Predator Display. :) All my armor and nowhere to put it... :D

Enjoy and Happy New Year!

Stay safe,

Tim.

VERY NICE! Looks like the bendy type of manequin to me.

Second thought it would look better if worn by yourself no? Its a permanent retirement you kidding no?

Hi Yen,

Nada bro, it's a standard fixed fiberglassed mannequin. And yes, I was serious about my Sandtrooper retirement. My ANH suit is just way too important for me to keep trooping/damaging it.

When the time comes round, I'll get myself another Sandtrooper suit, and this time, fanmade [can anyone say TM?] and built to troop. ;)

Stay safe,

Tim.

Maybe, but we Sandtroopers can carry ours, ride on huge lizards, wear stylish looking spacepacks and color coordinate our rank pauldrons.

DS gunners wear all black, all the time. 8)

Stay safe,

Tim.

P.S. I may be a Mandalorian now, but I'm first and foremost a Sandie. ;)
