Haha no, I got the notice by email. I bought my Royal Guard gloves from them. My experience can be summed up as follows:
First Pair - Good fit, poor sewing
Second Pair - Better sewing, poor fit, took damn long to come
Third Pair - Fire-engine red (wrong colour) ill-fitting FREEBIE thrown in with the second as compensation.
I also have a proper acrylic visor for the RG, looks the most accurate but I don't think I'll ever use it. You wants?

Sounds like Microsoft patching the patch.
