Sorry for the late report, just saw this...

My collection of sabers are all from MR FX;
(in order of purchase)
1) Darth Vader = rubber sticky & it won't turned on anymore :cry:
2) Mace Windu (2nd hand) = no more 'goldie' effect & the blade having black patches
3) Darth Maul = holding strong
4) Luke Skywalker = holding strong
5) Anakin Skywalker = rubber became sticky the blade having black patches
6) Obiwan (original trilogy) = saber ok
7) Master Yoda = blade lost its smooth glow & the switch became loose, rubber became sticky
8 ) FX Lightsaber Construction set = unknown latest condition as only tried it once when bought.

Note: I used them to play frequently; eg when cousins, siblings visits & even for scout initiations by the beach. My 2 year old son & I spar using Yoda's & Anakin's, which is the most used til today. the reason Yoda's switch is loose is because my son kept dropping it. All sabers are in specially made sabers sling bags (bought off ebay at that time) except Darth Vader, Darth Maul & Build a saber kit; they are in their boxes & plastic coverings. Most of the sabers have scratches due to usage / play. usually I would wipe them with damp cloth & dry it, especially after outings to the beach or school carnivals.

Does anyone know where to get cheap or 2nd hand Hasbro sabers? Looking for Count Dooku, Asaj Ventress & Obiwan saber from Ep 1, 2 & 3?
Other than getting them at Simply Toys, I used to get my sabers at the old Metro Sengkang 20% sale. Now that that department is gone, know where to go to buy!

MR FX Vader - Sticky rubber parts, some dead rings on the blade due to duelling
MR FX Obi-wan Ep 3 - Blade broke near the emitter due to duelling
MR FX Darth Maul Double-Bladed - as good as new and has been thru rigorous duelling and heavy rain
MR FX Construction Kit - As good as new and has been thru rigorous duelling and heavy rain

and all these are bought 3 years ago

WOW, even after rain?! This proves that they're value for money, except the sticky rubber like the sticky plastics of the figurines!!! Some how I always felt that Darth Maul's saber is the most solid one! I mean, no rubber or shiny parts that can rust.
