nice piece of prop brother....so is this fiberglass or resin, however the color shld be more metallic suggest u use tamiya gold powder or buy gold bronze to dry brush it to get the copper gold effect...and the gap shld be charcoal or metallic color...and ur destiny will be complete...very soon u will be on ur way to bag a chewbacca bounty

folks at TDH forums made it...

description from the maker...
"each detonator is cold cast using lightweight aluminum in a very light casting medium, then polished to a shine starting with grit and finishing with rubbing compound. The switch on top works as it should and does on screen, covering the red light when in the "off" position (see below). When on, the red light glows steadily and the three lights below work as close as could be managed while keeping costs down, first light is steady yellow, second flashes/flickers keeping lit more then the third which flashes/flickers slowly staying dark the longest of the three."

donleow, thanks for the suggestion...will definitely make it more "realistic"
HA HA HA ... soon i will have more wookie braids hanging on my shoulder

Yeah, I saw the thread for these babies on TDH. The blinking actually follows the movie one - very nice and realistic! Good addition to yr bounty hunter, bro! :)

To add to don's bro suggestion,

You might want to consider airbrushing with aclad2 model lacquers to create the metallic effect, followed polishing for the level of shine then drybrushing for the desired worn/weathered effect

Colors available are:

# 101 Aluminium
# 102 Duraluminium
# 103 Dark Aluminium
# 104 Pale Burnt Metal
# 106 White Aluminium
# 108 Gold
# 110 Copper
# 111 Magnesium
# 112 Steel
# 113 Jet Exhaust

If you really want a gold effect, you can dry airbrushing with aclad2 chrome, polish it then coat it another layer of translucent yellow, that would give you a very nice gold color..something like gold you see in jewellery shops. But for your case, Aclad2 Gold would be more suited as it has a dirty gold feel about it, kinda of blends in with your weathered bobafett armor
