Deployed Status means you have met the MEPD CRL, the difference is you are different comparing to 501st standard. 501st standard is basic requirement, whereas MEPD is much higher.

Deployed Status is a higher level of costume standards that strive for great movie accuracy. The standards are very strict and very anal with some requiring exact measurements and even the type of material used. Costumes of this nature must pass through respective 501st Detachment's approval panel before such status is given to a trooper. Only a few detachments have such standards. MEPD (Mos Eisley Police Department), FISD (First Imperial Stormtrooper Detachment), Pathfinders are just some examples of detachments that have such standards.

MEPD Deployed are for the Sandtroopers
FISD Elite are for the Stormtroopers
Pathefinder Lancer are for Biker Scouts
