For those that have the TCI and you need a pair of speakers, here's a $2 solution from Daiso@IMM. Pls note that $2 gets you the speaker only and it's non-powered but works a treat with the TCI. No feedback at all and it's much better than the helmet speakers.

TCI is a nice bit of kit but the ROM FX is the best I have found to date, as there is less feedback and it has more realistic static burst effects. The ROM FX pro even has an upload kit and also 3 programed tracks which can be triggered at the press of a control cord. It is a lot more pricey but in my opinion money well spent! The Rom Fx website as examples of the sound effects available.

Heeheee.....at
IMM at
Jurong East.
You can drop by the MRT Station or Interchange, then walk over to
IMM by crossing a traffic light not far from the interchange (
or take the Overhead Bridge beside the Interchange), cross the big field using the cemented walkway (
be careful at night as the walkway is not lighted up) and carefully cross the road towards IMM.
Or take the Free Shuttle Bus:
Cut across Popular Bookstore towards the Back Exit. Cross the road and wait "donkey years"

for the Shuttle Bus which had a Round Sticker on its front corner and side showing the "IMM==>Jurong East" Sticker.
An easy way to get to
Daiso is to take the Supermarket Trolley(?) Escalator in front of Giant Supermarket to the 3rd Level and Daiso is within sight.
Can also try the Plaza Singapura or Vivocity ones tho' no assurance it'll be there as those 2 are smaller so less stuffs compared to the IMM one.

Actually is it that the only thing that portable FM sets aka "Tow Yu" sets lack is the static burst at the end?
Does the static burst activate automatically? or is there a button to push?
BTW, I still have my throat mic set up that we have never had the chance to use in public. haha...

The static burst works on auto pilot. No button to press. You can adjust the sensitivity of the burst.
