Remember to focus the reinforcement at the edges, bro. As for the visor, it has to be reflective for the EP2 armor and dark smoke/black for the EP3 clone. You can place car tint (black and reflective) onto clear acrylic sheet. I'm not too sure where you can get clear acrylic sheet from...perhaps from Art Friend?

Anyone have any ideas to help?

Ya, Art Friend have Clear Acrylic Sheet in a couple of colors but not sure if they're the kind you should be using for our helmets.

Might want to take a look at shops selling Motorcycle Visor for better quality ones. You will probably have to cut them to size yourself. ;)

I used 1-mm thick clear acrylic sheet bought from ArtFriend for the new visor of my TIE Pilot helmet...Covered it with a layer of solar film bought cheap from a car accessory shop... When you use solar film on a curved surface, let the film cover the convex side of the surface.

Yup, agree...after meeting you and your lovely wife, I feel she's very supportive of your hobby. Something you shouldn't take for granted. :D

As for the FG tape, its a great idea! I might just get some to reinforce some parts of my own armor. lol

Its not unbreakable but it DOES have a very high tolerance and flexibility...provided its pulled/formed using minimum 0.08gauge ABS. Anything thinner is prone to tearing actually.
