Woh! That's fast in between each layers.

Just make sure you allow each layer, especially Putty and Primer layers to dry for at least 24 hours and later make sure nothing hard hit it.

I had to rush my helmet earlier this year, primer, repaint and clear coat it within 1-2 weeks and now it chip "easily" when something hard hit it. Then again, I was using Krylon and the recommended drying up time in between layers is 7 days.

Can't wait to see your helmet completed. ;)

Don't quote me on this as I've lost touch with the first few to come out but it looks like a Rubies to me...I'll know for sure once I can see better angles on it.

I think one of the tell-tale of a Kellog's Helmet is the bottom which curved inwards:

And the Fin is way to short for the proper look of the AOTC Clone Helmet so it HAS to be either extended or replaced completely. Can see the Kellog's Helmet here and how it was modified back then:

For the look of it, I dun think this helmet is Kellog's.

the one darth nacho has could not be a kellogs. this one has a much more detailed cheek and chin. kellogs is kind flat and also taller...

i have been looking at the helmet for a while, and i think it needs a 'collar' to make it slightly more accurate...i will do some shots hen i have time...

i thought about that too but for now i think i will just putty and paint since this is my first bucket that i am working on. if you mod yours let me know how you did it so i can do the same.

second coat of primer mr hobby 500 and some mr white putty patch.

will be ready for final prime tomorow.

look good so far
