Clone marshall commander cody 2224 helmet project

Post by donleow » Tue Feb 12, 2008 3:34 pm

Finally, after 3 months of anticipation, this bucket and their parts have arrived...the helmet is semi finish which requires my own painting to complete...took like 2 days to paint and assemble ...this is probably one of the most anticipating helmet i have always wanted apart from Paul's cmdr gree bucket...errr....lol..Anyway i just love orange for whatever abnormal reason...so i painted the visor orange instead of birch color ...Any advice or correction is welcome ....so i can continue to improve on my painting skill.

Looking good bro, just me but you might wanna dial back and lighten the 2 head pieces that 'sandwich' the centre fin. And maybe more dullcoating on the orange...

Other than that, sweet helm!

Thanks for sharing!

Right indeed this is the most anticipated helmet. Amazing for a 2-day job! Thanks for sharing.

haha brother tim u definitely read my mind...and i was thinking of weathering it further for the 2nd phase...and thks for the advice that really confirm my doubt to make more adjustment on color coating since all the cody reference pictures are illustrated under this illum or gold light so hard to tell is orange or birch...

thks

supposed to , but there is no way to make such a big curve without cracking it...we have tried making the full length but didnt work, ..anyway i m happy with what it is afterall is going to be a helmet collection and not meant for 501st registration... i have yet to add a ring around the bend yet to secure the visor from going upwards...

u can try to do one and let me know if it works since u got a clone bucket awee, if it does, please teach me...tks
